When we purchased the laser cutter… it came with a spare tube and mirrors. If anyone knows where the mirrors are… please let me know. I have the tube… it was in the server room… but was unable to locate mirrors.
What’s wrong with it as it currently stands? I couldn’t get a concrete answer out of anyone on Tuesday other than it’s somehow broken. I’ve got experience with laser cutters and own one myself so would be happy to lend a hand to help get it running again.

The long and short of it is, a thousand people were willing to lend a hand when all that was needed was for a single person to lend both for a short while. The resulting “chinese whispers” of hacking, turned it into the purple monkey dishwasher it is today.

sorry, I thought they were there too. but I checked this afternoon, and no they are not there. ( an they aren’t in the server room either ).
Please don’t get me wrong, the current laser cutter is busted at the moment, but that’s not what I’m working on. I’m building a second one. 
I think that’s a vast overstatement, but w/e. Current status is I’ve put my hand up again to fix it, we’re waiting on a new (smoothie) controller board to be delivered.

Nice one Nog. I’m upgrading a unit to run on RAMPS board at the moment, I’ll post a build log once some more of the parts turn up in the next week.
