50Hz GPS receiver

In the list of cool-stuff-I-find-at-3am, here’s a 50Hz GPS receiver for $85AUD. Last time I went shopping for a GPS receiver a few years ago, I had trouble finding one at 20Hz that was purchasable by a civilian that didn’t cost hundreds of dollars, so that’s one heck of a step up. It claims to have 2.5cm accuracy, but from my experience with other high-frequency GPS units you can probably expect 10cm when running at 10Hz. That’s still good enough to be used for all sorts of autonomous or datalogging things though, and it’s leaps & bounds better than a phone.
