Howdy y’all
I am going to run a class the evening of the 27th from 7pm that will cover an introduction to ‘veneering’.
The intended audience is for people who go “I (think I) have heard of it but no idea what is involved.”
By the end of the class, you should have an idea of how to glue a piece of veneer to a substrate and be confident enough to do it again on your own.
Timing: up to 3 hours?
I have some practices runs lined up to narrow this down, but it wont be more than that.
Spaces are not limited but I might cap it if it gets silly and run a second one if demand is there.
You will need: nothing!
By the end you will get a veneered board. Probably, depending on how the practices go.
Content:
What is Veneer?
Why would I want to Veneering?
What do I need to do Veneering?
Types of veneer → Cuts, delivery, storage, paper backed, PSA.

What is next/what can be done more than a basic panel? (inlay, marquetry, parquetry, bent laminate etc)
Respond here please so I can keep track of numbers and communicate anything that neds communicating.
Cheers
