Hi, i dont know if it’s relevant to post it here, All Pupose Coating do silica sand of various grades for $20 a 20kg bag. And i know the clay shed on the sunny coast do fire bricks and refractory mortar…
I still have left over castable Alumina Refractory rated to 1850 degrees perfect for making forges and furnaces as well as i still have an option on another half pallet of this stuff if still available.
I used to make my own blast furnaces and can help to set up gas and waste oil fired forges and furnaces and have equipment i can donate for these purposes.
For roof over Blacksmithing area as located between the two containers i would suggest doing a fly over constructed of C purlins and corro which i should have enough of to donate.
For sand casting the silica sand i used to source from river sands located in Carbrook the also had the stradbroke island sand which has higher Zirconia content that helps with the micro grain structure propagation in aluminium alloys.
Bentonite Clay - good old kitty litter and a blender does the trick
I use CO2 set sodium silicate for fine molding - this is expensive buying off the shelf but can be easily produced from your silica sand and sodium hydroxide relatively cheaply in bulk
