HSBNE Members, Come along with your family and friends on Saturday 1st of November to represent HSBNE at the Brisbane on Parade G20 Cultural Event !!!
The event will be held at Southbank and will last from 4pm to 5:30pm. More details about where we are going to meet what we have planned will be posted in the next couple of days !!! If you have anything cool and tech related to bring along and or wear make sure to set it aside
Brisbane on Parade is a celebration of our capital city’s diverse cultures. This carnival-style parade will kick off as the sun sets, featuring many of our communities adorned in bright and colourful costumes.
The registration desk will be located near the Riverstage on the north side of the Goodwill
Bridge.
Marshalling
Marshalling will occur along the Goodwill Bridge.
Parade route
Commences - River Quay Southbank 4pm Route - along the Promenade at Southbank Concludes - Cultural Forecourt near QPAC Time- It is expected to take approximately 30-45 minutes to walk.
Will Public Transport still be running on Parade day?
Yes, public transport will still be running as normal and it is recommended that you use this
mode of transport if possible.

We recommend car-pooling if a group of you are travelling to the parade.

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is closed.

Is there a drop off area near the Riverstage?
Yes, there is a drop off area at the front of Parliament House on George Street, opposite the
City Botanical Gardens.
