While upgrading the CR-10 printers with BLtouch sensors it was discovered that they had really old control boards that didn’t have enough flash storage on board to handle any new marlin firmwares.

This means we can’t implement the bltouch probes properly so in an attempt to improve our printers it’s worth upgrading to these straight drop-in replacements for the current control boards. These are a fairly significant futureproofing of these machines and can be reused in any later machines we purchase if required.

Brendan to turn induction process for Red Laser into online course.

Brendan to get the CR10 control boards in place for repairing the cr10 units.

Ian to document process for Shininglight 3D Scanner

Current scanning rig to be reviewed in the new year for possible upgrade.

Meeting to be held in a fortnight to discuss moving Digifab into the Games room.
