I will be away on the last class, presumably when you will be going through calibration, are you going to be running another class, or able to organise for someone to run me through?

During the first 2 classes, you will become intimate with the on line documentation for every aspect of building your Mendel. Reprappro.com/support/documentation If you have problems after that, then there is the opportunity to ask questions on any Tuesday night. OR, you may be able to sit in on the following set of classes. hope that helps.
Since I don’t know enough about the laser cutters and cnc machines to be an effective cause leader, I have decided to step down from the position. I have some core interests of my own that I want to get back to as well.
I hope this gives people an opportunity to consider themselves for the position by Tuesday night. I’ll continue with the workshops with Victor until the end of the month.

I never had much use for Linear Algebra until now. Wish I paid more attention in lectures all those years ago.

Quick update on the laser rastering. I have figured out a reliable way to export any object (Not just jpg and png anymore) which isn’t a vector path to be rastered.
Ofvourse no smoothie support yet, but that’ll come next. This allows an end to end raster+vector design in inkscape. Presently Raster path data is exported at 270dpi which works well from my testing.
