There is an induction to the forge this weekend, Sunday 10am. Basicaly a look see, regards set up and pack down, gass etiquet, safety, and some basic striking info to get you started.
We will have a look at the furnace and discuss casting, though none will be done on the day.
You’ll need jeans, nonsynthetic gloves like leather, and closed in shoes. We should have eye protection and ear protection.
The only mandatory things here are closed in shoes, eye protection and no synthetic clothing.
Our eye protection is running low, so if you can bring your own, you will probably be more comfortable.
Any one can watch in any kind of gear, but having no closed in shoes, glasses and wearing synthetic clothing will mean no participation.
A water bottle helps to keep hydrated
