The next Blacksmithing & Casting Team Meeting will be held on the 19th February 2023 at 10am. The meeting will be held physically on-site and virtually on the Meetings voice channel in the HSBNE discord server.
There will be open forging after the meeting.
As per HSBNE’s Teams Policy, any items requiring a vote must be posted here to allow for 5 days notice to the membership. Any HSBNE member may attend the meeting, but only Blacksmithing & Casting Team members are able to participate in voting. There will be open member forging after the meeting.

For the forge team meetings we require at least 3 members to be able to attend to meet the quorum and vote in any new changes. If we don’t have at least 3 members we can still have the team meeting required for funds/volunteer requirements.
Due to the number of members currently away we can either:
- Hold the meeting with available members to meet reporting requirements for funds/volunteer requirements.
- A member who is unable to attend the meeting can proxy to another person to attend the meeting in their place by emailing forge@hsbne.org which would allow us to meet quorum and vote on things.
I don’t think we have anything too important to vote on this month, so we can go with option 1 and vote on things next month once more team members are back.
We also need to look at voting in a 2IC for when the team leader is unavailable. I propose the 2IC has the same powers and responsibilities as the team leader when the team leader is absent.
