Hi HSBNE! My name is Zoe Truasheim
I’ve just joined because a friend told me about HSBNE and I’d like to introduce myself.
I’m interested in leather working, programming, D&D and I paint sometimes(artistically).
I’ve joined HSBNE because I really enjoy making things and right now I’m interested in making a hardware neural net. I’ve learned a bit about them and I even made one for a class once. I think there’s no reason why it wouldn’t be possible to make a hardware one.
I’m looking to learn anything anyone’s willing to teach me because I’m honestly not sure how I’m going to make this, I think metal work and digital fabrication would be a good place to start, but anything related to building would be good to learn.
I am currently studying a bachelor of science at Griffith university. I currently major in physics but I am hoping the graduate with a dual degree in physics and math. I work casually at an art gallery doing odd jobs.
My qualifications are that I once had an internship at an ion trapping lab where I learned soldering, basic computer circuitry (ie logic gates and how to use them). I’m good with oscilloscopes and arduinos. I’m pretty good with c++, sql, Java and python as I’ve taken a few programming electives.
If anyone is working on a project and they think any of the things I know would be helpful let me know, I’m happy to help.
