The next Metalshop Team Meeting will be held on the 23rd of May 2022 8pm. The meeting will be held virtually of the Meetings voice channel in the HSBNE discord server.
As per HSBNE’s Teams Policy, any items requiring a vote must be posted here to allow for 5 days notice to the membership. Thus the deadline for agenda items with votable aspects for this meeting is midnight the Wednesday before. Any items posted after this deadline will not be able to be voted upon this meeting and tabled for the next meeting for discussion and team member voting. Any HSBNE member may attend the meeting, but only Metalshop Team members are able to participate in voting.

I have joined hsbne again after being away for a few year
I have been over the yag with Eris the other day and have a plan for making the shield I will be making a pattern for the vacuum former which I looked at the other day so we can form a few as they will get damaged.
If no one has bought the motor for the lathe yet I might have one sitting around and also have some vfd’s. Just a thought if we already have a manual lathe I do have enough spare parts to convert one of them into a CNC lathe.
I repair and build cnc’s and have spare parts all the time I went over hildi tonight, she seemed to run fine on Linux cnc. ( coolant pump needs looking at I think the screen may be blocked but will go over it today) my understanding is hildi has just been converted to the new controller?
