Looking at the design we could probably build one and improve on it so you don’t need the tape. Could just use laser mouse for XY tracking and digital compass for offset adjustment.
A limited number of Origins are available for pre-sale in the US only.
Also that would be $1,500USD so $1,984AUD if they did ship to AU.
It’s a interesting tool, though the use of marker dots would annoy me.
Mostly because its a vendor lock in piece that you would always need on hand to use the tool.
