A week ago, I used the website interface to request a membership. I haven’t heard back about it. Perhaps I entered incorrect email address.
I am only here (in Brisbane) for a month until 30th June and I am quite keen on joining the community for that time and perhaps work on a cool mini project.
Any way, what should I do?

You should email the executive and attend a Tuesday Open Night as the executive need to vet you and send you an invoice.
Unfortunately as anything that is run through HSBNE is done on a volunteer basis sometimes we can’t get to membership requests within a week.
