Tips for buying a band saw?

Hey all

I’m looking to purchase a band saw. Any tips on the best / cheapest place to buy one in Brisbane?

Any particular brands I should go for or avoid?

I’ll mainly be using it to cut MDF and acrylic.

I got mine at “hare & forbes machinery” in coopers plains. They usually
have lots of equipment on display so u can compare and whatnot.
